We are pleased to announce the opening of registrations for the tournament “Autumn of Lions 2024.”
Participation is open to all Italian players.
The chosen format is a round-robin tournament, meaning that each participant will play a match against every other entrant.
Each participant is free to contact their opponents via the tournament messaging system on 81dojo to arrange the date and time of their matches.
Matches must be played by November 17th (Shogi Day in Japan!!), the official end of the tournament.
The organizers reserve the right to change the tournament format depending on the number of participants as a last resort.

Below is the information needed to participate:

– Time control: 15′ + 60″

– Registration deadline: Friday, October 25, 2024, at 22:00 (Italian time, CET)

– Tournament start: Saturday, October 26, 2024, at 01:00 (Italian time, CET)

– Tournament end: Sunday, November 17, 2024, at 23:00 (Italian time, CET)

In the event of a tie at the top of the rankings, a tiebreaker match will be played on Sunday, November 17th, at a time to be agreed upon by the participants.
